Eurocopter BK 117

Life Air uses the Eurocopter BK 117 out of both of our bases.

The BK117 is a larger aircraft than the AS 355 F1 so it can accommodate multiple patients when necessary. As with the AS 355, the speed and range combined with a roomy, quiet cabin make it perfect for emergency missions.

Safety is enhanced by the BK 117's ability to operate on only one of it's two engines.
