FIRST RESPONDER PROGRAM

Course Description:
The first responder program consists of 40 hours of training in emergency response.

Pre-requisites:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Passing score of 80% or higher on Pre-entrance exam

BASIC EMT PROGRAM

Course Description:

• 130 Classroom hours
• 20 Ambulance Clinical Hours
• 10 Hospital clinical hours
• 6 Hours allotted for testing and practical exams

Pre-requisites:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Passing score of 80% or higher on Pre-entrance exam
• CPR Pro or Health Care Provider CPR card
• Negative TB test
• Two (2) letters of recommendation

ADVANCED EMT PROGRAM

Course Description:

• 280 Hours lecture/lab
• 20 Hospital clinical hours
• 20 Ambulance clinical hours
• 6 Hours allotted for testing and practical exams.

Pre-requisites

• Valid EMT-B certification
• Current CPR card
• Passing score of 80% on pre-entrance exam
• Negative TB skin test
• Background check
• Two (2) letters of recommendation
  

ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT (ACLS)

Certification:
Certification will be issued upon completion of the course and obtaining a passing score on final exam.

CERTIFIED INTENSIVE CARE PROGRAM (CICP)

Course Description:

• 96 Classroom hours
• 8 Hours of skills testing and the CICP written final examination
• 24 Hours of Clinical Observational Experience Time

Pre-requisites

• Minimum of at least one year as Paramedic or Critical Care RN
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS or PEPP or ENPC
• ITLS or PHTLS or ATLS

PRE-HOSPITAL TRAUMA LIFE SUPPORT (PHTLS)

Certification:
Certification will be issued upon completion of the course and obtaining a passing score on final exam.

Pre-requisites

• Current certification as one of the following:
  
  EMT-B
  Advanced EMT
  Paramedic
  RN/Physician
  

ACLS (ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT)

Certification:
Certification will be issued upon completion of the course and obtaining a passing score on final exam

Books are provided for student, under the condition that they are to be turned in at the end of the course or student is responsible for purchase cost of new to book for replacement.

Due to the enormous response to our Basic EMT Program, we are looking forward to the future of expanding our classrooms, staff, and equipment to our other locations.

We are looking into more state of the art equipment and continuing to add specialized programs in the future.

We use fellow employees and peers as instructors, which leads to:

• A non bias atmosphere
• Classes are offered more frequently than most schools and colleges
• Set to accommodate the different and hectic schedules of EMS personnel
