Personal Bio:

Mike is a 20 year Professional in the Aviation industry and EMS industry, from management and dispatching on the ground side of things to piloting on the air side.

Mike started out in 1981 as a basic EMT and went on to Paramedic. In 1985 Mike joined St Vincent Life Flight as a Communication specialist, and after several years was approached by the Regional Emergency Medical Service of Northwestern Ohio to become an Emergency Dispatch Instructor, Mike taught for the company until it was phased out by Lucas County EMS. Mike continued at St Vincent as a full time Communication Specialist until 1999 when he began his flying career with McMahon Helicopter Services at which point kept his hand in the communications end until 2002 at which point he could no longer juggle the two positions. Mike has flown with several Helicopter company’s and has flown many different mission types in his career from ENG (Electronic News Gathering), Cargo for the automotive industry, to Executive transports and Organ Procurement flights for The Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit Michigan. Mike also has several years of management experience and has not only managed Helicopter operations but also has experience in business class jet aircraft management.
